With a modular and integrated structure, this diploma sets the stage for further study in the Master of Creative Industries, allowing for complete flexibility and accelerated pathways for JMC Bachelor's graduates.

Mindful of your work and general life commitments, study hours are accommodating and based outside of traditional work hours. A Graduate Diploma of Creative Industries is award upon the successful completion of the 2 semesters (or just the 2nd semester for JMC Academy graduates).

Graduates of this program are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue diverse opportunities in fields such as media, design, advertising, and entertainment. Whether you aspire to be a creative director, project manager, marketing strategist, or cultural entrepreneur, your training at JMC will prepare you to succeed in a variety of roles. With a deep understanding of industry trends, innovative thinking, and effective communication skills, graduates are ready to make a meaningful impact in the creative sector.

Postgraduate (master’s degree) applicants will be selected on the basis of:

  • A completed, recognised bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field of study* OR A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an unrelated discipline plus relevant industry experience and/or other qualifications
  • English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 (with no band below 6.0)
  • Interviews with Academic and International staff.
  • A relevant field of study includes but is not limited to: music and sound production, arts management, film + television, music and related studies, entertainment, graphic and design studies, visual arts, interactive + visual design, animation and game design, creative writing, new media, communication and media studies.
