Mindful of your work and general life commitments, the Masters of Creative Industries is available over 4 semesters. Study hours are accommodating and based outside of traditional work hours. For those who are unable to complete the Masters, a Graduate Diploma is an available exit point after the successful completion of 2 semesters.

Graduates of the Master of Creative Industries program are well-positioned for a wide range of exciting career opportunities across the creative sector. From artist management and tour management to production coordination and festival organisation, graduates possess the skills and expertise to excel in various roles behind the scenes. Additionally, graduates may explore careers as venue managers, booking agents, music supervisors, or PR executives, leveraging their knowledge to drive innovation and success in the industry. With a focus on creativity, entrepreneurship, and project management, graduates are equipped to make meaningful contributions as creative directors, digital marketers, or podcast producers, shaping the future of the creative industries.

Postgraduate (master's degree) applicants will be selected on the basis of:

  • A completed, recognised bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field of study* OR A bachelor's degree (or higher) in an unrelated discipline plus relevant industry experience and/or other qualifications
  • English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 (with no band below 6.0
  • Interviews with Academic and International staff.
  • A relevant field of study includes but is not limited to: music and sound production, arts management, film + television, music and related studies, entertainment, graphic and design studies, visual arts, interactive + visual design, animation and game design, creative writing, new media, communication and media studies.
