Alan is a distinguished entrepreneur, innovator, director, and author with decades of experience in technology and education. He has held directorships in private, public, and non-profit sectors. He founded Group Colleges Australia (GCA), incorporating Universal Business School Sydney (UBSS), an Independent Higher Education provider that was among the first to implement online learning and technology systems, streamlining student services.
Alan significantly contributed to the Australian education industry as a former Board member of two peak bodies. An articulate advocate for 'entrepreneurship and the education industry,' he has shared insights in over 200 articles and numerous TV and radio interviews.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
